My wife and I have been working with Whitney for almost a year now! We love her flexibility in scheduling, her knowledge of fitness, range of exercises and especially her motivation and fun personality. We have so much fun working out with her that the time just flies by. We have both lost weight, gained muscle and toned our bodies. We are constantly setting higher goals and amazed at how much strength and confidence we have gained. Whitney Tegethoff is the real deal! She has quickly become one of my favorite people. I was very nervous and self-conscience to begin training, but Whitney quickly made me feel at ease with her friendly but confident manner. It became quickly apparent to me after working with her a couple of times that I absolutely made the right decision to work with her for my personal training. After working together a few times, she was intuitive about my progress and knew when to push me and knew when I needed to slow down. She is very well versed in weight training and I have learned a lot from her. One of the things I especially liked about her was that our first meeting consisted of her talking with me and asking me questions about my goals, current health and an overall conversation of what I wanted to accomplish. I feel she really has helped to get me on my way to achieving my goals, which is something I have never felt in the past when working alone.
I hired Whitney to help me get toned and lose about 10 pounds. She’s been training me for about 2.5 weeks now and it’s been exactly what I needed. She’s extremely professional and explains every exercise before we do it and why we’re doing it. As I hit my early 50’s I found myself in the worst shape of my life. I began working out using strength building and cardio CD’s in my basement and had a moderate level of success. Once I plateaued, it was time to get some help. I found Whitney through an online app and was intrigued by her experience and various options of in-person and online training. Due to my busy schedule I need to work out early each morning and needed someone that would be flexible. Using her online tool, Whitney designed many different workout programs for me, staying in constant communication motivating me. She even came to my house a few times to make sure I was using the correct form.
Through Whitney’s training, motivation and nutrition guidance, I got past my plateau, dropping from 210 to 185 lbs. I am in the best shape of my life and due to the weight loss and strength building, I am now able to run, which I was never able to do before because of my bad knees.
